In order to implement the security work of enhancing village left-behind and distressed children caring released by the Party Central Committee, the State Council & Guangdong People’s Government and the deployment of social organization participating in poverty alleviation program, Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province held the Hundreds of Social Organizations Approaching to Left-behind and distressed Children Hand in Hand Action Activity 2019.

On the deployment and guidance of Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province, GDSSMPA, as leader of Jieyang Team, its executive chairman and party branch secretary Lin Zeyu and executive secretary general Huang Gengyan led more than 10 social organizations to Jieyang for holding Hand in Hand Action Activity 2019 from Aug. 16 to 17. This activity helped the poor in teaching, growth education, spiritual caring, poverty alleviation, environmental optimization, public welfare and so on aspects. 

The helping target are the left-behind and distressed children from downtown, Quxi Town, Yulu Town, Putian Town, Yuhu Town of Jieyang, Dongyuan Town of Jiexi and so on. Taking love devotion donated by more than 50 member enterprises, GDSSMPA donated love libraries with bookshelf and 3,500 books for Jiexi Dongyuan Chiyan Branch Xinxing Primary School and Jieyang Yuhu Dongliao Zhendong School. Besides, GDSSMPA purchased a batch of special catharsis apparatus for psychological treatment room of Jieyang Children’s Welfare Home which solved the problem of lacking of psychological rehabilitation equipment here. 

On the August 16 afternoon, GDSSMPA together with Shantou Leyou Home and so on social organization held a Little Musician Music Sharing Session in Jieyang Children’s Welfare Home. After the session, they gave away children the deliberate gifts. 

On the August 17 morning, the donation ceremony was held in Zhenxing Primary School, Dongliao, Yuhu, Jiedong district, Jieyang city. GDSSMPA donated construction fund to village primary school for building love library in Jieyang through Guangdong Education Foundation. It donated 3,500 high quality and readable books(valued 35,000 yuan) for Zhenxing Primary School.   

Later, GDSSMPA led several social organizations visited left-behind and distressed children’s home separately.
