In order to response to a Guangdong Province People’s government and Foshan People’s government call to help the poor, GDSSMPA donated RMB 150,000 to help ten of needy families in Foshan and cultural facilities’ renovation in Zhanjiang through Foshan Tongji Charitable Foundation with the support of Foshan CPPCC.

The donation ceremony was held in the lobby on the first floor of Office Building of Foshan CPPCC. Zhu Huaxian, the vice chairman of Foshan CPPCC; Liang Yingzhi, the executive deputy secretary-general and office director; Huang Nanfei and Mao Leping, the deputy secretary-generals; Yang Xiaojing, the member of Foshan CPPCC Standing Committee and secretary-general of Foshan Tongji Charitable Foundation and so on related staff from Foshan CPPCC together with Lin Zeyu, the full time executive vice chairman and secretary-general of GDSSMPA; Huang Gengyan, the executive secretary-general; Shan Guoxi, the director of GDSSMPA and the president of Xiyouwo Stainless Steel; Liu Zongming, the director of GDSSMPA and the general manager of Mingzhou Machinery; Wu Shunbao, the member of GDSSMPA and the general manager of Henglicheng Stainless Steel all presented at the donation. This ceremony was presided by Huang Weiping, the director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatrioats and Foreign Affairs Committee of Foshan CPPCC.
