At the time the 19th National Congress had been held by the Party, Cantonese Entrepreneurs Conference held by Guangdong People’s Government and Guangdong People’s Political Consultative Conference, sponsored by Guangdong Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Guangdong Department of Commerce, Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce and CCPIT at Baiyun International Conference Center, Guangzhou. Xu Lejiang, the deputy director of The United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and  party secretary of ACFIC and Ma Xingrui, the deputy party secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and provincial governor presented at the conference and made speeches. What’s more, Li Yumei, the director of Standing Committee of Guangdong People’s Congress; Liu Shaochun, the member of standing committee of Guangdong People’s Congress and executive vice provincial governor; Zeng Zhiquan, the member of standing committee of Guangdong People’s Congress; Yuan Baocheng, the vice governor; Lin Musheng, the deputy party secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and vice chairman and so on provincial leadership participated in the conference. The conference was presided by Wang Rong, the Chairman of Guangdong People’s Political Consultative Conference. Outstanding Cantonese entrepreneur Li Ka-shing sent his congratulation letter there. Pony Ma, Dong Mingzhu, Xu Jiayin and so on famous entrepreneurs together with more than 1000 representatives from all of the country, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas showed up. After recommendation, applying and checking, GDSSMPA, one of the ten provincial excellent associations demonstration site, its chairman and president of Guangfeng Group, Wu Weibin, together with Chen Peihua, the executive vice chairman and general manager of Guangdong Weilian Changcheng Metal Co., Ltd.; Lin Shucan, the executive vice chairman and president of Guangdong Yuehua Stainless Steel Co., Ltd.; Chen Huahua, the vice chairman and general manager of Foshan Zhongcheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Lin Zeyu, the full-time executive vice chairman, secretary general and executive committee member of GDFIC were invited to this conference.

On the theme of Advocating the spirit of Cantonese Entrepreneurs and leading the development of innovation, the conference was begun when the national anthem rang.   

Entrusted by Hu Chunhua, the member of Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of Guandgong Provincial Party Committee, Ma Xingrui showed his appreciation and welcoming to all of the Cantonese entrepreneurs there. 

On behalf of United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee and ACFIC, Xu Lejiang sent congratulation to the conference. 

During the opening ceremony, five of famous Cantonese entrepreneurs including Pony Ma, Dong Mingzhu, Wang Chuanfu, Yang Zhao, Su Zhigang made speeches.  

Witnessed by Xu Lejiang, Ma Xingrui, Li Yumei, Wang Rong and so on leaders, the key project signature ceremony had been held during the conference. 

In the afternoon, there was a summit forum on the theme of Revitalization of Guangdong Real Economy. Six famous entrepreneurs: Li Dongsheng, Dong Mingzhu, Chen Zhilie, Zhang Chuanwei, Wu Guangsheng, Zhang Jing made theme speech.

The conference had been successfully held with high specification, large number of people and wide influence.
