For welcoming the Guandgong Poverty Alleviation Day, GDSSMPA held the poverty alleviation activity in Pingquan country, Guixu town, Yunan county, Yufu city. Executive vice chairman Chen Peihua, full-time executive vice chairman and secretary general Lin Zeyu, vice chairman Li Jinwu, Tan Yonglian, Director Yuan Weiming, Zheng Shupeng, Tan Guohao and so on 23 persons went to there helping the poor for the first time this year. 

On the 16 June morning, the donation ceremony was held in Pingquan Primary school, Guixu town. The delegation together with Zhu Yongtong, the vice chairman of Yunan County of CPPCC, Wang Zhizhong, deputy researcher of Foshan Statistics Bureau, Ye Yan, the deputy researcher of of Foshan Investigation team of National statistics bureau. Zhang Daujun, the deputy director of Foshan poverty alleviation office, Zhang De, the director of Yunan County poverty alleviation office, Liu Bingrong, the mayor of Guixu Town all participated in the activities. Firstly, Li Ruihuan, the headmaster of Pingquan Primary School made a introduction of the school. Later, Lin Zeyu made a speech. He said he was entrusted by 56 enterprises who donated in total of 100,000 yuan for improving Pingquan Primary school teaching hardware and environment by purchasing teaching equipment, learning supplies and constructing a playground. Next, Zhu Yongtong also made an introduction of Pingquan country. He hope that all of the teachers and students will repay social with distinction.

During the donation ceremony, GDSSMPA awarded grants to poor excellent students. Liu Bingrong, represented for Yunan People’s government, presented a banner to GDSSMPA. After the donation ceremony, the delegation divided into five group visiting poverty-stricken family and sent them condolence money.
