Led by Mr. Cai Dewei, the deputy mayor of Yangjiang People’s Government, Lei Shuangfu, the director of Bureau of Yangjiang Economic & Information, Yuan Tie, the director of Yangjiang Bureau of Commerce in total of 12 persons visited GDSSMPA and received warm reception by Lin Zeyu, the full time executive vice chairman and secretary-general.

They exchanged their opinion about the base, industrial planing and status of Yangjiang stainless steel industry. Besides, they discussed enhancing cooperation and communication and working together for stainless steel industry sustainable development.  

Mr. Cai firstly introduced their purpose of visiting and highly appreciated GDSSMPA. He expressed that GDSSMPA is a family of Guangdong stainless steel industry enterprises with its increasingly important role and function. He wish to enhance cooperation with GDSSMPA and build high-end stainless steel industrial base. Mr. Cai mentioned that Guangdong people’s government approved to construct China-Yangjiang High-end Stainless Steel Industrial Base, so Yangjiang people’s government and party committee pay high attention to the development of stainless steel industry. On the basis of original stainless steel, hardware, knives and scissors, they plan to build a complete stainless steel chain which including raw materials, steel-making, hot rollong, cold rolling, surface processing and products. According to Mr. Cai, Yangjiang has the advantage not only of steel making and owing mineral resources, but also of owning harbors, adjacent to pearl river delta, strong electronic equipment, abundant land resources, not high land price, convenient transport and low cost of living. During the discussion, Mr. Cai gave a detail introduction of the arrangement and planning of Yangjiang stainless steel industry in the future.       

Mr. Lin welcome and thank for Mr. Cai’s arriving. He introduced GDSSMPA, stainless steel industry inside and outside the Gaungdong province and industrial base construction information. GDSSMPA will always concern with related Yangjiang project. GDSSMPA will try best to support the construction of Yangjiang high end stainless steel industrial base.   

Both sides also discussed the next step cooperation and reached a preliminary consensus.
