Leaders from Jieyang People’s Government Visited GDSSMPA

Led by Vice Mayor of Jieyang People’s Government, Zhang Shiyi and Party Member Zhang Huiling, Deputy Secretary-general of Jieyang People’s Government, Chen Xiaoqing, Director of Jieyang Economic and Information Bureau, Yuan Wenjian, Director of Foreign Affairs Bureau, Zhang Jiqin, Director of Jieyang Smaill-middle Sized Enterprise Bureau, Wang Xiaoxuan,Chief of Jieyang Government Office, Xie Pengfei a total of 9 persons visited GDSSMPA on Mar. 3rd, 2015 afternoon.
Firstly, Vice Mayor Zhang highly appreciated the warm reception the GDSSMPA leaders had given. He introduced current situation of Jieyang economic development and overall positioning, overview, construction planning and cooperation effectiveness of Jieyang Sino-German Metal Ecological City. He pointed out that they focused on bringing in German Advanced Technology, Management Experience and Related Excellent Enterprises to promote effective docking between German and Chinese enterprises and motivate the industries and city’s innovation and development. Besides, he also invited members of GDSSMPA to investigate, invest and cooperate in Jieyang. Then, Vice President of Sino-German Metal Group gave his opinion about prospect, preferential policies and some projects of Sino-German Metal Ecological City. Next, Chairman Wu Weibin gave a general introduction of GDSSMPA and Guangdong Stainless Steel Industry Development to them. On one hand, leaders from GDSSMPA gave relatively high appraisals for Jieyang’s new project construction and operation model of encouraging traditional industrial transformation, Government support, association guidance and market-oriented operation. On the other hand,they gave them some suggestions according to their own work experience in the stainless steel industry. They also expressed that GDSSMPA will try its best to help Jieyang’s economic development. Finally, both sides exchanged their ideas about project construction, market trend and holding activities and were willing to strengthen close communication with GDSSMPA and Government.
