Being invited by Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group, the Chairman of Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association (GDSSMPA), Wu Weibin and the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-general Lin Zeyu visited the company and received warmly reception given by the President of the Group and the Secretary of the Party Committee, Li Jianping.

Accompanied by the General Manager of Electrical Company and the Assistant to General Manager of the Group, Wang Rongyi, Chairman Wu and Secretary-general Lin visited the exhibition hall, assembly workshop, workshop of electrical company and so on. The excellent, sharp and professional products left them a deep impression.

Chairman Wu and Secretary Lin also had an discussion meeting with the President of the Group, Secretary Li and other leadership during the investigation days. What’s more, Secretary-general Lin and the General Manager of Guangfeng Steel, Zhan Jierong, each on behalf of GDSSMPA and Guangfeng Steel, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with General Manager Wang Rongyi.

President Li firstly showed his heartfelt welcome and thank for the visiting. Next, he made a detail introduction of the present development, product layout, operation of the Group and other high level stainless steel products. According to the introduction, Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group is the member company of China North Industries Group Corporation, which directly under the control of Central Government. It covers an area of 320 square kilometers with 15,000 staff and 15 billion-yuan total assets. It work to build an important industrial base of first class weaponry, national specialty materials and heavy equipment for it not only had special steel smelting, casting, forging, heat treatment, machining, electro-hydraulic manufacturing, assembly debugging and range testing but also formed three core businesses including the military weapons and equipment, specialty steel and extension products, mining vehicles and construction machinery and four supporting products including the coal machinery, special vehicles, petroleum equipment and stainless steel set equipment. President Li highly appreciated the function and influence the GDSSMPA had have in the stainless steel industry and he made some suggestions on public company and private company joining hands to become bigger and stronger. 

Chairman Wu and Secretary-general Lin also thanks for the warmly reception and supporting the Group had given. They also highly appreciated the Group’s background, scale, product structure and core competence. Chairman Wu gave a comprehensive introduction of GDSSMPA and Guangfeng Steel, and he exchanged his opinions about the public company and private company, national mixed ownership and the association.

With the common consensus, both sides wanted to grasp the opportunity to build an industry union creative system. To cooperate in the high level stainless steel industry and relevant fields which can help each side to achieve the win-win situation. According to the agreement, the Group can propagate the 1450mm, 850mm18 roller and so on rolling mills and cold, hot pickling lines, 1450mm, 720mm20 roller and so on sheet production lines via GDSSMPA platform. Besides, North Heavy Industrial Group need to made the industrial standardization about the stainless steel strip, rolling and pickling lines. At the same time, GDSSMPA will help the Group get the technology of international advanced equipment and information of the stainless steel industry. Both sides will cooperate in accordance with the market rules and mutual benefit, fully consultation and communication principles, maximizing the convenience of each other when possible.
