Beihai TV net---As the most advanced five rolling continuous stainless steel cold-rolled production line in the world so far, the stainless steel cold-rolled project of Beihai Chengde is now on its installation stage. It will be put into production on October. This project laid a solid foundation for new materials industry to gain 100 billion output value at the Beihai harbor.  

The products and techniques of Chende new materials, known as the leading project in the Beihai new materials industry, are on the list of encouragement development industry directory released by National Development and Reform Commission. Beisdes, the new materials industry is one of the 100 billion yuan priority development industries in municipality. Since 2011, its annual output of stainless steel feedstock is 1.6 million tons; for low nickle alloy, it is 820 thousand tons; for high nickle alloy, it is 80 thousand tons. It is predicted that the output of nickle chromium strip will be 2.5 million tons by the end of this year. For the five rolling production line the company had launched, the output will be reach 700 thousand tons with the  product thickness range from 0.3 to 3.0 mm and the speed of production is 400m/min. This project was established at the end of 2013, there were 3 single rolling mills and a pickling annealing line with monthly output will be 30 thousand tons. It was planned to put into production on August, but due to some problems with suppliers, it will be fully fledged on October. 

Deputy General Manager of Beihai Chengde, Luo Qingge said the annual output will be 1.2 million tons with the value of 30 billion yuan.
