Invited by Jieyang People’s Government, Directors of GDSSMPA went to Jieyang for visiting and communicating and to study the local stainless steel and mechanical equipment industry’s successful experiences and practices of development, transition and upgrading in order to seek common progress and development from 23rd to 25th June, 2015. The delegation in total of 36 persons received warm reception made by Zhang Shiyi, the Deputy Mayor of Jieyang People’s Government, Chen Xiaoqing, the Deputy Secretary-general, Yuan Wenjian, the General Director of Jieyang Bureau of Economic and Information and Hong Shaowei, the Deputy Director of Jieyang Party Committee United Front Work Department and the Party Secretary of Jieyang Federation of Industry and Commerce and relevant Officials from Sino-German Metal Group and the Metal Enterprises Union of Jieyang, Guangdong and other enterprises. 

Day 1: Jieyang Guangfeng Steel Industry Co., Ltd. Visiting and Welcome Dinner

The delegation arrived at Jieyang Guangfeng Steel Industry Co., Ltd. which located in New & High-Tech Development Zone of Longwei, Jieyang at 4:00 pm on June 23rd, 2015. This company is a subsidiary of Guangfeng Group---the Chairman Enterprise of GDSSMPA. It is an excellent enterprise specialized in roller manufacturing. Invested heavily in advanced equipment and technology and personnel, it is now the largest roller manufacturing factory with 15,000 tons of roller annual output. Peng Longsheng, the project Leader of the company firstly introduced the development process, overall advantage, market distribution and the on-going key technology research and development project which will cooperate with colleges and universities to the delegation. Then, leaded by Mr. Peng, the delegation visited one-stop production workshop of roller manufacturing. Visitors stopped and watched the whole process for a long time and had deeper understanding for the complete stainless steel set of production & supply chain. 

Jieyang People’s Government prepared the Welcome Buffet Dinner for the delegation in Jieyang Hotel at 6:30 pm. Deputy Mayor Mr. Zhang, Deputy Secretary-general Mr. Chen and so on leaders from Jieyang People’s Government had dinner with Chairman Wu Weibin, Executive Vice Chairman & Secretary-general Lin Zeyu, Chief Supervisor Xing Mingliang, Vice Chairman Li Jinwu of GDSSMPA. 

Day 2: Enterprises Visiting and The 4th Session of the 1st Council of GDSSMPA

Accompanied by Chen Xiaoqing, the Deputy Secretary-general of Jieyang People’s Government, Hong Shaowei, the Deputy Director of Jieyang Party Committee United Front Work Department and the Party Secretary of Jieyang Federation of Industry and Commerce and Wang Xiaoxuan, the Deputy General Director of Jieyang Bureau of Economic and Information, the delegation went to visit the Exhibition Room of Guangdong Zhongbao Kitchenware Co., Ltd.---one of the leading Stainless Steel Products enterprises in Jieyang at 9:00 on 24th June. It was introduced by Lin Xiaowei, the General Manager of Zoombo that Zoombo was established in 2002 with more than 300 million yuan of annual output value so far and manages 4 brands like ZOOMBO, BODEUX，Potobelo and U-Temp. It owns dozens of series with hundreds of products, enjoying a huge circulation of main products in Europe and USA with high added value. It is said that Zoombo puts a high value on technical input for it researches and develops 30 to 40 new products each year. With more optimization being done on technical equipment, it had gradually realized production automatization and intelligentization. Reducing the number of staff from 1,700 to 1,000 which did not influence on its output. The delegation highly appreciated Zoombo’s product quality, added valueand and its function on technology upgrade and efficiency increasing very much.

Later, the visiting site was Greatoo. Inc.---the largest scope in China, leading technology and the first listed company with Tire Mould design and produce. Leaded by Wu Yingxiong, the Deputy General Manager of Greatoo, the delegation visited its production workshops of tire mould, precision hydraulic vulcanizing machine, intelligent storage rack, industrial robots, etc.  The delegation deeply impressed and inspired by the Greatoo’s high level, professional, exquisite factory facilities, advanced equipment, technical research & development team, creative achievements, patents, foreign and domestic sales performance and honorable titles such as National Innovation Technology Model Enterprise and Top 50 of Guangdong Equipment Manufacturing.         

Next stop of visiting is the constructing Sino-German Metal Eco City. Green and beauty environment as a symbol of the Sino-German Metal Eco City firstly attracted the delegation. It is reported that the project was adopted the mode of Party Committee and Government Guidance, Association Leading and Market Operation. Importing German advanced technologies, equipment, talents and services which greatly made a progress in promoting industrial development. This project was planned to cover more than 30 thousand acres area with half of industrial use and half of original ecology to make a real green ecological industrial park. So far, there are 18 enterprises from China and German had already moved into the City, and there are nearly 60 enterprise are negotiating. After visiting some constructing projects and listening relative introduction, both sides watched advertising video of the project and had a discussion meeting in the meeting room. The delegation also consulted the Sine-German Metal Group for sewage treatment, entering threshold, supporting policies and so on aspects. What’s more, Chairman Wu Weibin, Secretary-general Lin Zeyu gave their suggestions on investment attraction by taking advantage of the City’s constructed Advanced Electroplating Wastewater Treatment Equipment to attract high-end plumbing equipment industry. The delegation also highly appreciated the big investment, imposing sight and mass campaign of Sino-German Metal Eco City.  

At 4:30pm, GDSSMPA held the 4th Session of 1st Council in the meeting room of Jieyang Hotel presided by Executive Vice Chairman & Secretary-general Lin Zeyu. Firstly Secretary-general Lin Zeyu made the First Half of the Year Summary & Report; secondly the new council member list of Peng Chujun, Wu Dangquan, Li Meibo, Yao Jiesheng, Shi Xuanping, Liang Zhantang, Fan Yi and so on new Directors had been voted and added; thirdly the Guangdong Stainless Steel Industry Integrity and Self-discipline Convention had been approved by voting; Finally Chairman Wu Weibin made a conclusion. He gave the Secretariat fully affirmation and high evaluation. Besides, he called on more focus on stainless steel industry and association platform for improving anti-risk ability, keeping steadily forward and seeking common development.  

Jieyang relevant sides specially arranged a Music Fountain Show for the delegation at 8:00 pm. This Fountain is the highest and longest one over the country with the highest height can reach 188 meters. It is really a visual feast as there are more than 20 water types together with laser and music to compose a marvelous waterscape.   

This three-day Jieyang Visiting Journey is one of the arrangements in GDSSMPA’s First Half of the Year Work Plan in 2015. The delegation benefit a lot through this activity. It not only can learn more new advanced ideas, experiences and cases but also can create condition for member enterprises’ development.
