In order to practice Brand Driven strategy which provided by Guangdong Party Committee & Guangdong People’s Government, to set up industry model and to enhance brand value of member enterprise, GDSSMPA had held a public welfare activity---Brand Power Guangdong Stainless Steel Industry Brand Enterprise Election last year which supported by higher authorities. It also had been a brand building indicator and cultivating booster.Recently, GDSSMPA, together with Private Economic News held the 2nd Public Welfare Election and had future optimization in some respects such as  specifications,conditions and requirements. Therefore, 6 Prizes had been set including Guangdong Most Valuable Stainless Steel Pipe-making Leading Brand Enterprise 2014, Guangdong Stainless Steel Pipe-making Top Ten Brand Enterprises 2014, Guangdong Stainless Steel Decorating Plate Brand Enterprises 2014, Guangdong Stainless Steel Cold Rolling Brand Enterprises 2014, Guangdong Stainless Steel Trading Brand Enterprises 2014 and Guangdong Stainless Steel Young Brand Enterprises 2014.

On the basic of member enterprises submission and secretariat checking, the 2nd Evaluation was held in the Secretariat meeting room of GDSSMPA on Monday morning. Evaluation group members including Lin Zeyu, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-general of GDSSMPA, Li Zhibiao, Vice President of GDSSMPA, Director of Guangdong Iron and Steel Research Institute and Director of Guangdong Metallurgical Products Quality Supervision & Inspection Center, Chen Ming, Member of GDSSMPA Experts Group, Researcher and Senior Engineer of Technology Center of Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and Chen Xiaochao, Senior Lawyer of China Lawyers Association, Member of Administrative Law Committee of Guangdong Lawyers Association. Combing with all materials that enterprises provided and the requirements of the Appraisal Scheme had set, the Evaluation Group selected the candidate enterprises after more than 4 hours’ examination, verification and registered scoring with serious and impartial attitude.

As the Working Schedule indicate, GDSSMPA will release Candidate Enterprises List on wechat public platform for voting in early June.
